Playful pups- take two.

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekebd and a pleasant monday too...

As mentioned in my earlier post, I am here to share a card I made on order. It is a fancy fold card.

I used HoneyBee Stamps 'Playful pups' stamp set and patterned papers from Simple Stories. I had cut the Sun from one of the patterned papers. I also used the Grassy Hills dies from MFT.

I love how the front of the card turned out. Watch the video below to see the surprise element inside the card. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

See you soon...

My feelings for you are strong!

Hi everyone! I want to share a very quick card I made a couple of days ago for Little Tangles challenge.

This is a very simple card. First, I stamped the image on a piece of Strathmore Bristol smooth cardstock and coloured with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.

I sponged ink through a Winnie and Walter stencil on the card base and stuck the fussy cut image on the background. I stamped the sentiment to finish the card. So simple, isn't it? :) But I did follow the Rule of Thirds while making the card. These days I seem to be more inclined to use that rule on my cards. But I don't always follow it, especially when I feel that it is going to take off fun in the intended design. Many a time it is all about enjoying than making something look correct, right?

Anyway, that is it for today morning. ;) See you later in the day with one more card.

Have a pleasant Monday!

Supplies used-
Big Bold Brew stamp set from Neat and Tangled
'Do you see what I see' screening from Winnie and Walter. (That name makes me smile everytime!)
Zig markers for colouring.
Hero arts ink for sponging ink through the stencil.

Floral cards- country blooms

It has been more than a week since I last blogged. I have been busy with a few orders for personalised cards and I was having a lot of fun. I hope to share them soon as they are SO much fun. :)

For now, I have a couple of floral cards to share.  I used Honeybee Stamps 'Country blooms' stamp set to make two variations.

Here they are...

For the first card, I stamped a few images from the 'country blooms' set and fussy cut them out. Then on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock,  I sponged some dye inks in rainbow colors.  Then, arranged the flowers on the inked panel. Finished the card with some ink splatters and the die cut sentment.

Here are some close up pictures.

The next is more soft looking as I used a very light pink to stamp the background. I used the same stamp set. I randomly atamped the background and assembled the card. I added glitter paper to add interest to otherwise a very simple card.

 A close up...

Hope you like the cards... will be back soon with more. :)

Take care.

Hi everyone!

A quick post to share a card that I made for the MFT color challenge.

Here is my card using all the four colours in the challenge picture.

I sponged two shades of blue dye inks on Neenah Solar White cardstock. I also sponged the light yellow and orange dye inks on a piece of white cardstock and diecut it. After die cutting, I felt that the orange was not as bright as it looked in the picture. So, I took a orange vopic marker and highlighted the bottom half of the die cut.

Heat embossed the sentiment in white on black cardstock. Also stamped the diagonal pattern on the card base and assembled the card together. Added some sparkly sequins.

Here is a close up of the die cut.

Hope you like the card...

See you soon again.

Playful pups

Hello everyone!

I can't believe it is May already! Time surely flies! And my little son is growing up too fast too. So, how about you? What are you upto these days?

Honeybee stamps has a Design Team call going and I thought I might try my luck. :)

I used their 'Playful pups' and made three cards. The images are SO cute and I just couldn't stop with one.

Here are the cards...

For the first card, I stamped the images of pups on post it notes and cut them out since I planned to have all the pups lined up side by side on the card. So, I would need the masks. Took a piece of cardstock measuring 5.5"×3.75". I stamped all the pups masking some to make it look like they are standing right beside each other.

I coloured them very quickly with zig markers. Once dry, stuck the panel on a kraft coloured card base.

For the second card, I stamped the card base with a background stamp in pale blue colour. I stamped, coloured and fussybcut the pups. Then, stuck the grassy hills die cut at the bottom of the card. I also heat embossed the sentiment in white on black cardstock.  Finally, before adhering the pups, I sponged sone light blue ink behind where they would be stuck.

A close up....

The last card is fun and quick. I die cut a film strip using the Pretty Pink Posh die. I sponged light pink ink on the card base and some on the die cut.
Then, adhered the coloured and fussy cut images and stamped the sentiment.

I hope you like the cards..

See you soon with one more set of cards..

Watercolour floral card

It is me again. :) I have one more card to share that I had mentioned about yesterday.

I made a couple of cards for Altenew challenge and here is the first if you are interested.

Inspiration picture..

And this is my take on it...

I started with stamping a lot of images from the 'Adore you' stamp set on a sheet of masking paper. I fussy cut them out and uses them whenever needed. I hadn't planned this floral arrangement beforehand and so it took me a lot of time to get it all right.

By the way, tge images were stamped on a watercolour cardstock and coloured with zig markers.

After colouring, I partially fussy cut the top portion of the stamped arrangement. I sponged some ink on the card base and mounted the fussy cut piece on it.

Adore you...

I'm back with a watercoloured floral card. Made it last night for Altenew April Inspiration challenge. Actually I made two. Will share another card in a different post.

I almost gave up making anything for the month's challenge but my friends Piyu and Hussena inspired me with their creations and you will see the result in a moment. :)

Here is the inspiration picture...

Here is my take on it...

First, I started by stamping images in light coloured ink on watercolour cardstock. Then, I coloured with Zig markers. I'm not very good with no-line colouring technique. So, won't go into the details. I tried my best to make the images not look flat. :)

Here is a close up... I also added splashes of red as I could see some red in the inspiration picture.

I used 'Adore you' and 'Best mom' stamp sets. To add more interest to the background, I stamped with a background stamp partially on the card base.

Hope you like the card. Will be back with another card I made for the challenge.

Also submitting this card to..

Miss you!

A quick post to share a super quick card that I made for the Little Tangles challenge.

Here is my card. It took me 10 minutes flat (five minutes to gather my supplies and five minutes to make the card) to make this super CAS card. Also, this is a one layer card.

I stamped the origami map partially on a pieceof water color cardstock. I used MISTI to do it as I had to repeatedly stamp it as the cardstock had a texture to it that it was difficult to get a crisp image.

After stamping, I took a very wet brush to the 'Australia' part of the map and also in the sentiment area and then brought water colour to the wet area. The colours spread by themself anfmd the resut was what you can see here.

I must say I was very satisfied with the look as it was exaxtly the way I wanted it to be.

By the way, I highlighted Australia because that's where my sister lives now and I miss her a lot... So this card will soon be on the way to her.

I hope you like the card...

See you soon again..

Baby card (shaker and pop-up)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. I spent mine in organizing my crafty stuff a bit.

I just wanted to share a cute baby card I had made.

The front of the card is a shaker and inside, there is a pop up. The card is for parents-to-be and the sentiments are super cute.

Submitting this to Paru's card making challenges.

Here are the pictures...

A close up of the shaker window and elements.

I started by taping down a stitched rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp and rounded rectangle die from MFT. The largest dies from both the sets could be used to make a perfect frame. I taped them dowb together and die cut several frames to make the shaker frame. I could have die cut obe frame and used foam tape instead of stacking so many die cuts but for some reason, I am never good with foam tape.

On another piece of cardstock, I stamped the sentiments and also adhered the coloured, fussy cut images. I used Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear sequins for my shaker elements.

Now for the inside...

I wanted to include a surprise when the card is opened. I felt that a pop-up  would be great.

 Pic from a different angle...

Hope you like the card...

See you soon with more. :)

Mermaids in a box!

Hahaha! I have no mermaids with me, people! :D I made a card-in-a-box for the first time and I have all of the sea in it, including mermaids! :)

This was a custom order from a sweet lady for her friend to celebrate their decade long friendship. Isn't that awesome?! I love stories of that kind! So I tried to make it extra special for them.

Since I have used the Neat and Tangled set called 'Mermazing' and also as the theme for Little Tangles challenge this month is 'Watercolor', I'm submitting this to the challenge. I have watercolored all the images with zig markers and blended them with water.

Also submitting to Paru's card making challenges. The theme is Anything goes.

Sorry for the not so good pictures! I was in a rush to complete, pack and send it.

Here is how it looks when opened. I forgot to take a picture after adhering the sentiments in this angle. I have another shot below.

I had to stamp, colour and fussy cut a ton of images to complete this one. But I enjoyed all of it.

This is how the front of the closed box looks like...

Here are two more sides of the box...

When I had realised that I hadn't taken a picture after adhering the sentiments just before packing, I took a couple of quick pictures....

Here are some close up snaps...

Supplies used-
MFT puffy clouds dies
Mama Elephant Landscape trio dies.
MFT 'just because' and 'Kind thanks' for sentiments.
Zig clean color real brush markers.
Echo park paper 'Let's be mermaids' paper pack.

SOW cute!

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing? I have been working on some custom orders and haven't been getting much time to post here. Add to add to it, a sick child. Not good right?

I have  card to share with you that I made a few days ago. I shared on IG. So, if you follow me on Instagram, you must gave already seen this.

Here we go..

Here is a close up...

I die cut a piece of Neenah solar white catdstock using the stitched filmstrip die from Pretty Pink Posh. I stamped the images from MFT Hog Heaven and those cute little birdies from Friends Furever a watercolour cardstock, coloured with Zig markers and fussy cut them out. I sponged 'Tumbled glass' distress ink and adhered everything on a stitched rectangle panel. Finally, stuck it on the card base.

It looks like a simple card but it took me forever to decide what to arrange where. :)

I hope to see you soon again. I have got some very cute custom made cards to share. :)
